Emerald Island Resort is a New Resort style gated community located in the heart of Kissimmee just
over one mile from Highway 192 in the upscale Formosa Gardens area,closest resort to Walt Disney World - being as it is just 2 miles away. The Emerald Island Resort is set on a large, picturesque conservation area that is less than 2 miles from Walt Disney World. It is a superb resort, and moreover a gated-community that was constructed in 2002 and has over more tha 700 Vacation Rental homes.Don't be fooled though, it isn't known as one of Orlando's finest resorts for nothing! Because of its location, it is the ideal base for your vacation - Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios are quite close by. However, don't think that you'll have to leave the resort, as within the gated-community that is Emerald Island Resort, there is a vast array of facilities such as shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.
The Formosa Gardens shopping mall can be found just a 1 minute which offers some of the finest restaurants around including the families favourite the Outback Steak House.
