POOL
A south facing not over looked swimming pool, a large covered lanai(covered) area both not over looked. All doors leading out to pool are alarmed.

BEDROOMS
Our villa has 4 bedrooms, large masterbedroom(king bed) with ensuite queen double bedroom with adjacent bathroom, tv in bothbedrooms. 2 twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom, one bedroom with PS2.

FAMILY ROOM
A large family room with 40inch flatscreen Hd tv, dvd player, radio, books and table games, room for all the family. A lounge area enough room for 2 families.

KITCHEN/LAUNDRY ROOM
The kitchen area is open plan, having all you need to cook, including dishwasher,and microwave, enabling you to chat to family members whilst cooking. A laundry room with washer and dryer.

NOOK
Leading from the kitchen, the nook over looks the pool and lanai areas.

GAMESROOM
Recently added in the garage are our pool/air hockey/and football tables fun for all the family.

Southern Dunes is a 24 hour secure gated golfing community, with a Golf course, clubhouse with bar and restaurant open daily for all your meals.

Onsite ammenities are basket ball and tennis court, childrens play areas, lake and small gym.

At the entrance are Walmart supermarket,bank, gas station, pharmacy, and local restaurants.

Situated on highway 27 close to all theme parks amd airports.
15 minutes from Disneyworld, 30minutes from Orlando airport.

Community Information

The community of Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club was first established in 1993, it is located approximately 8 miles south of I4 exit 55 on State Route 27. It is a community of approximately 700 homes located around the multi award winning Southern Dunes Golf Course and is approximately 20 minutes drive from Walt Disney World. Southern Dunes is an established and peaceful gated community comprising of a mix of vacation homes and owner occupied homes. There is an active residents association focused on maintaining and improving the community. The roads are pretty quiet so its safe to walk or jog around. As you enter the community there is a lake to the right and trees lining the roads and edging the golf course, all of which give the area a ‘country’ feel.

Southern Dunes is an established, peaceful gated community comprising of a mix of vacation homes and owner occupied homes. Within the community there are 3 swimming pools, which are larger than the private pools attached to villas, so they are useful if you want to swim lengths. There are two tennis courts and small children’s play area with swings and slides. The lake has a small crocodile and I have seen people fishing there. Super markets are close by along with petrol stations and banks. I4 is just minutes away providing quick access to the beaches near Tampa on the West Coast or the Space Coast beaches near Cocoa and Melbourne and direct access to the theme parks. The golf club and course is open to the public and, in addition to the golf course there is a driving range, putting green and shop. To play a round it is advisable to book in advanced as it is a very popular with tourists and locals. The golf course, designed by Steve Smyers, is unusual for Florida in that it is built on a hill and has 100 feet of elevation changes. The course has won multiple awards, for example 4 and a half stars (out of 5) from Golf Digest Places to Play (2002-03), America’s Best Top Daily Fee Courses (Golf & Travel 2001.

Orlando4Villas opinion, Southern Dunes offers much for the family coming on vacation to the Orlando area. The community Southern Dunes is its peacefulness and convenience, and is just outside the main gate of the community are two large supermarkets, Winn-Dixie and Wal-Mart which will have everything you need (Food, Pharmacy, Clothes etc).
