This park is noted for its six beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes. Lake Louisa is the largest in a chain of 13 lakes connected by the Palatlakaha River, which is designated as an Outstanding Florida Waterway. Lake Louisa, Dixie Lake, and Hammond Lake, the park's most accessible lakes, provide access for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Anglers can fish in four of the park's six lakes, but gasoline-powered boats are not allowed; only boats powered by trolling motors or without motors are permitted. Camping facilities and more than 15 miles of horse trails are available for equestrians. For hikers and backpackers, the park has over 20 miles of hiking trails with excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Dixie Lake has a fishing pier, canoe/kayak launch, and a picnic pavilion.

Bedroom 3 contains twin beds + clock alarm.

No 2 bathroom / bath / shower / wc situated between bedrooms 2 / 3, with rear door leading to patio and pool area.

Community Information

Westridge is located in the outskirts North of the town of Davenport, Florida (minutes from Kissimmee) along highway U.S. 27 between Highway U.S. 192 and the I-4 Interstate. Both highways are an easy 5 to 10 minute drive. Disney's main gates are approximately a 15 minute drive, and Orlando International Airport is approximately 30 minutes away (depending on traffic). The Westridge community offers a wonderful mix of full time residents and short-term rental homes. Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, well maintained, and safe with well lit streets. The homes are nicely spaced in a landscape of gently rolling hills.

The community offers free use of its cabana, community pool, play area for children, lit tennis courts, and basketball and volleyball courts to residents and guests. If you are a golf enthusiast you may choose to play a round next door at Highlands Reserve, or even try Greg Normans new "Champions Gate" Complex which is just minutes away, as are numerous other courses. Westridge is the perfect place for golf fanatics on holiday with non-golf fans, as although Westridge, Florida is a golfing community, it is ideally situated to explore the numerous world famous attractions of Florida. Surrounding Westridge are over 20 golf courses to choose from, all offering luxury facilities and excellent club houses where you can recuperate after a testing round, or relax if you have dropped a few shots on your way round!
