Our brand new villa has just been completed in May 2005 and is situated on the Emerald Island Resort, a beautiful gated community of grand houses. It is probably the most sought after and prestigious resort in the Disney area and nestles among lakes,lush green upland and woodland. Our spacious villa backs onto a lake and conservation woodland, and offers a beautiful tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Parks yet is only 3 minutes from Disney, 24 hour shops, restaurants, banks etc. The south facing pool and jacuzzi gives all day sunshine.

Our stunning villa has 7 bedrooms (2 en suite) and 4.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom is huge and has a four poster bed and patio doors which lead directly onto the pool and jacuzzi. The large en-suite bathroom has a walk in shower. There are 3 further double bedrooms, all with four poster beds, all beautifully draped. The other three bedrooms are twin and are uniquely furnished with designer canopies over the beds.

There are two large lounges so that several families could easily share but still have their privacy if that's what they want. There is a formal dining room and also a nook next to the large kitchen. The whole area is open plan and very spacious. The superbly equipped kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, oven and a fridge which makes continuous ice, just right for those gin and tonics. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer (I know we don't want to do the washing, but needs must).

The south facing pool area has an extended deck and a jacuzzi so that you can relax in the evening whilst the kids have fun in the pool. The gas barbeque is large and ideal for al-fresco dining, so the men can cook whilst you relax.

The Games Room has a pool table, air hockey and table football. There is cable TV, of course, as well as DVD players in both lounges and a Playstation, Home Theatre system and video player.

We chose not to have the usual "furniture package" but selected every piece of furniture ourselves so that it was of the highest standard. We feel we have produced a very special villa, just perfect for your vacation.

Emerald Island has its own Clubhouse with communal pool, gym, tikki bar, internet cafe, sauna, games room, tennis courts and children's play area so that you can get to know people and the kids can make friends. The staff at the Club House are very friendly and helpful with lots of useful information at their fingertips. They can organise transport to the Theme Parks if you wish or book you a restaurant.

Disney is just 3 minutes away and all the other major attractions are just about 15 minutes from Emerald Island. There is so much to do in Florida it would be difficult to list them all, but the Kennedy Space Centre is just 45 minutes away. Old Town Kissimmee is great with lots of extreme sports and on Friday and Saturday nights there is a parade of classic cars.
